Knowledge of traditional design techniques. Knowledge of innovative design techniques. The course aims to provide students with the following skills. Know how to apply the techniques in the control of traditional design modifications of complex architectural systems. Know how to apply the innovative design techniques in the control of the modifications of complex architectural systems.
Prerequisites Architecture and composition 3.
Teaching methods The course, which is supplemented by specialist seminars aimed at deepening the concept of architectural design as a system of theoretical-critical as well as technical-scientific knowledge necessary for the understanding and transformation of physical space, is divided into theoretical lessons and a design exercise.
Other information None.
Learning verification modality The exam consists of an individual oral test and the presentation of a project realized in a group. The test aims at assuring the level of knowledge and understanding, as well as synthesis, achieved by the student.
Extended program The course, which is supplemented by seminar initiatives aimed at deepening the concept of architectural design as a system of theoretical-critical than technical and scientific need for understanding and transformation of the physical space, is divided into lectures and exercises in a project. The lectures are divided into three training units: the theoretical framework (elementary principles), themes (layouts conventional), the new themes (layouts unconventional). Educational objectives Briefly with the Course you acquire the ability on managing, conceptually and technically, the different project themes.
Prerequisites Knowlwdge of History of Architecture, Technical Architecture, Representation Techniques.
Teaching methods The course is organized as follows: lectures that enter the specific knowledge of architectural typologies, through arguments supported by visual material, with insights aimed at highlighting with examples the characteristics and the different methodologies (conceptual and technical) of project definition. Extemporaneous project exercises to be drafted in 5 hours.
Learning verification modality Also in this case, teaching is the third that the student faces in the same compositional-planning context in the Degree Course and aims to provide broad skills in approach and definition of the design process that implies the awareness that an architectural project , depending on the different and multiple intrinsic connotations, it can be expressed with a view to safeguarding and enhancing the contextual reality with which it will have to relate or confront.
