BEST PAPER AWARD AT IOMAC 2019 CONFERENCE

2019 05 16 iomaticA research team of DICA composed of Ilaria Venanzi, Alban Kita, Nicola Cavalagli, Laura Ierimonti and Filippo Ubertini received the Best Paper Award at the International Operational Modal Analysis Conference (IOMAC 2019) held in Copenhagen on May 13-15, 2019 for the paper “Continuous OMA for damage detection and localization in the Sciri Tower in Perugia, Italy”. The paper, presented at the conference by Dr. Venanzi, proposes an innovative methodology for earthquake-induced damage localization which has been validated using experimental data of a long-term dynamic monitoring campaign and nonlinear dynamic analyses.
