Course description:

The course aims to provide students with the essential skills to recognise, analyse, apply and use the most widely used graphical languages in the representation and communication of research activities and projects.

The use of the techniques and tools of the graphic sciences today has an interdisciplinary value and links research areas that, although very different from each other, use images to communicate objectives, contents and results. In addition, the use of images also has a transdisciplinary component, as the synergy between graphic sciences and other disciplines represents an opportunity for the advancement of knowledge and the discovery of new cultural frontiers.

In this context, the course offers a general overview of the current use of the main graphical languages in the various disciplines and includes the development of a practical application related to the topics of interest concerning the individual research carried out by students.
