(brochure)
Today we move in changing patterns that need to respond rapidly to social, cultural, environmental and political stimuli. Sustainable innovation models therefore take on the character of high flexibility and adaptability. From product and its lifecycle to strategic and systemic design, via service design and product-service systems (PSS), the design world sees, on the one hand, the approach to environmental sustainability, which refers to the protection of the ecosystem, availability, quality and renewal of natural resources; on the other hand, the focus towards for social sustainability, which promotes conditions of well-being for human beings, aiming at improving the quality of life. Therefore, the course aims to provide tools and methods to develop skills in analyzing and critiquing the reference context. Subsequently, define the insights of designing scenarios, systems and services that effectively respond to the challenges of sustainability, concerning the best possible future scenarios
