Location
The Master's Degree (M.Sc.) in Materials Engineering and Sustainable Processes will be held at Scientific and Educational Center in Terni. This campus is a modern structure that stands in a park at the outskirts of the city with a dedicated library, computing facilities and top-ranking laboratories. A food court is located at about 300 meters from the main campus. Moreover, a bus/train station is located at about 2 km from the main campus. This path is also accessible through a new bike path which directly connects the campus to the bus/train station and then to the center in 10/15 minutes. Finally, the train station connects Terni to Rome in about 1 hour and then, from there to the entire country.

Terni is one of the most important tourist attractions in central Italy. The city is worldwide recognized because it gave birth to Saint Valentine, protector of lovers, and for the Marmore Falls, the artificial highest waterfalls in Europe. Terni surroundings are rich in art and nature with many villages rich of history and beautiful landscapes. Many Roman and middle-age buildings, ruins, and cities are accessible by bike, car, and bus. Moreover, Terni is an industrial city famous for the 2nd largest steel factory in Italy, for a series of multi-national chemical corporations such as Novamont, Beaulieau, Alcantara and Tarkett.
